Somatic Experiencing (SE):
noticing how stress and protective responses show up in the body
Free ConsultSomatic + IFS-based online therapy · California
This is an inclusive and affirming space for cisgender and transgender women, as well as anyone who sees themselves reflected in this experience.
You’re often the person others depend on. But lately, chronic stress, anxiety, hormonal changes, or the emotional impact of an autoimmune diagnosis may have left you feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, or unfamiliar in your own body.
Let's Get in TouchYou might be here because…
Even while your body, needs, or circumstances are changing, you may feel pressure to keep going and hold everything together.
You don’t have to navigate these changes alone. Therapy can offer space to understand what your mind and body have been carrying and support greater steadiness, at your own pace.

Who This Space Is For
You don’t need to know exactly where to begin or have the right words. We can start with what feels most present and explore it together at a pace that feels manageable.
You are welcome to show up as you are—without minimizing your needs or explaining who you are.
Mind-Body Connection
Therapy can offer space to understand what your mind and body have been carrying and support you in finding greater steadiness, at a pace that feels right for you.
Talking and gaining insight can be valuable. At the same time, stress and protective responses may also show up in the body as tension, exhaustion, numbness, restlessness, or difficulty feeling settled.
In our work together, we can draw from somatic approaches and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to gently explore your thoughts, emotions, physical sensations, and the different parts of your experience. We may notice how your body responds to stress, listen with curiosity to the parts of you that have been working to protect you, and explore what helps you feel more supported and connected.
This is a space to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and develop a more compassionate relationship with what you are experiencing—without pressure to move faster or share more than feels manageable.

using focused attention to explore experiences that may be difficult to reach through words
understanding emotions, attachment needs, and patterns of connection
making sense of shifts between connection, activation, overwhelm, and shutdown
bringing curiosity and care to the different parts of your inner experience
cultivating awareness, self-compassion, and choice
Together, we can explore what is beneath the surface and support your whole self with curiosity and compassion.
A space to reconnect, find steadiness, and grow at your own pace.
